CDG (Paris Charles de Gaulle)

Proud to be part of this special project!

At No Point Airport, we are very proud to announce that AVPRO Designs has chosen us as their printing partner for their new 1:400 CDG (Paris Charles de Gaulle) 🇫🇷 Airport project, with the ground layouts drawn by Layover Layouts.

The project consists of 30 ground foil sections, based on the original CDG Airport and accurately drawn in 1:400 scale. The completed display represents Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport around the 2015 timeframe.

For this project, we print the foils on our high-quality 410 g/m² TRU300 PVC/Polyester grey-back film, featuring a subtle tarmac texture.

This material is exactly what makes our ground foils so special. The light texture provides a highly realistic asphalt appearance, while the surface reflects very little light. This creates a realistic look not only within the diorama itself, but also when photographing it.

After printing, the foils are shipped to AVPRO Designs, where they are laminated onto self-adhesive board material and become part of the complete CDG Airport display. See the first four beautifully assembled ground foil sections in the photos below.

Ultimately, this display will become part of a collection of seven airport displays at the World of Airports in Orange, California.

We are extremely proud to be part of this collaboration between three specialized companies, each bringing their own expertise together to create a highly realistic 1:400 scale miniature of CDG Airport.
